Virtual 5K Run/Walk for Water Justice 🏃‍♀️

Everyone in the challenge will get a badge when the challenge ends.


You can choose to participate in the Virtual 5K Run/Walk for Water Justice wherever you would like. You can run, walk, use a treadmill, hike, skate, bike or whatever gets you to the distance of 5K. Participants must follow all social distancing guidelines and follow all traffic safety guidelines. You can track your distance with your favorite app. You can then screenshot or share your run, or photos of your walk/run on social media using our hashtag #5K4WaterJustice. Download your printable runners bib and virtual medal from https://www.umichwesley.org/downloads Your donation of $22 help support water justice in the U.S. and the world. Funds will be distributed to: 1. The United Methodist Committee on Relief efforts to help clean up the Midland, MI area, following the failure of the dam. 2. The efforts of Clean Water for the World to provide water filtration systems in areas in need of safe, clean water. 3. United Methodist organizations helping with the ongoing Flint Water Crisis 4. The water justice efforts of We the People of Detroit.
